Sight words are also very important. There are 7 different groups of sight words each first grader needs to pass. Your child can pass these words as quickly as they can learn them. There are also other sets of sight words to pass if they move through the first 7 quickly. I always try to challenge each child at thier own pace. Keep practicing these important words at home.
Currently we are learning about graphing as well as continuing to practice the skills we have already covered. It is always important to review each skill throughout the entire year.
